After breaking free from a spell by the Scarlet Witch, the now powerless Agatha Harkness aims to regain her powers to confront a looming threat. With the help of a teenage familiar, she gathers a mismatched group of witches to form a new coven. Starring Kathryn Hahn, Agatha All Along promises an enchanting journey into the mystical depths of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The much-anticipated follow-up to WandaVision teases viewers with a nod to how that series replicated beloved shows. We’re given a Mare of Easttown-inspired episode for its premiere, using the murder mystery setting to reveal the catalyst for the miniseries. However, Agatha All Along seems to break away from this format by the second episode.
Although we only get a taste in the first two episodes, the show seems prepared to take us through some magical mischief, delving into Agatha’s past and exploring those supernatural elements. While there are nods to WandaVision and familiar faces from Westview, the series also introduces new characters who will join the spellbinding adventures.
One of these characters is Joe Locke, who plays Agatha’s right-hand man known as “Teen”. He often steals the spotlight with his quirky personality, adding some playfulness to the show. And I’m excited to see how the show will give space for the rest of the coven’s personas shine.

But there’s no character I’m more thrilled to see than Hahn, who will have so much more time in the sandbox to fully embody the character of Agatha. Her true nature wasn’t revealed until the seventh episode of WandaVision, so it will be enjoyable to see her portrayal in depth for an entire season.
Overall, I was impressed with the introduction to the series. There are several intriguing aspects that captivated my interest, and I anticipate plenty of surprises from the Marvel team. I hope to see spectacular costumes and set designs as the series progresses, as well as meeting other mystical characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Agatha All Along is now streaming on Disney+
