Released in 2015, Tales of Halloween is an anthology film comprised of ten mini movies. Directors, writers and actors change with each tale, truly giving you ten completely unique stories. While you’d call most over-the-top, and maybe on the hokey side, with tales of evil pumpkins, aliens and murderous ghouls, all together it’s an entertaining collection.
Each of the ten tales in this film take place on the same Halloween night, strung together by a radio DJ narrating between. While they’re not all directly connected, they still all have the same tone, a bit of humor mixed with the horror.
You’ll even see a few familiar faces like Pollyanna McIntosh (The Walking Dead), Sam Witwer (Being Human) and Lin Shaye (Insidious) to name a few. Though it can be pretty goofy at times, it’s all in good fun and definitely will keep your attention.
